Yah, I checked out Egypt a while back. I'm older so my limiting factors were the hospitals. Conditions compared to other countries were not exactly where I want to be if something were to go wrong health wise. If I was younger I would definitely be in Egypt on the long term. But at my age nah.

Fear. Brainwashing. Getting information from people who got it from someone without a passport. Because they think The USA is the shiznit. But I think the number one reason is money, in that the government and corporations and Industries know for a fact that if many Americans traveled outside of America, not just to a resort or cruise they would leave USA asap, because their eyes would be opened to adventures they couldn't imagine in their wildest dreams. Going to an all inclusive, never leaving the resort, or a cruise is in fact a good baby step but many stop there, only experiencing tourist bubbles As far as it being expensive, is incorrect, roundtrip to Cairo, hotel included for a week is $800.
